Dissociation and ionization of particles by powerful UV radiation of ArF laser in a beam of desorbed dimethylcadmium molecules

摘要
The dissociation and ionization of dimethylcadmium induced by a powerful ArF laser in gas phase under the collisional conditions were studied using the mass spectrometric technique. Energy fluence dependences for consumption of initial molecules and the yield of their fragments, including CHn (n = 0-3) hydrocarbons, in neutral and ion forms, were measured. Plausible collisional multiphoton processes resulting in these fragments were considered.
