Challenges and opportunities in microwave education

The steps taken by MTT-S to tackle challenges in the field of microwave education are discussed. It provide opportunities to flourish in the field of microwave engineering. IEEE Microwave Magazine has provided a forumm for the publication of tutorial articles to better educate new practitioners and business managers in the microwave field. Numorous smaller conferences and workshops are supported both financially and technically directly by the MTT-S in order to encourage microwave education. An important element of MTT-S support of microwave education is in the form of fellowships.
