摘要
The corrosion of reinforcing steel is one of the most significant causes of deterioration of reinforced concrete structures in marine environment. In this paper, the evaluation models of bearing capacity, reliability and durable life are introduced. A new method to measure the corrosion of reinforcing steel is proposed based on the optical fiber sensing technology. Thus the corrosion rate of reinforcing steel can be monitoring by the fiber optic sensor embedded in concrete for marine structures. The Corrosion rate of reinforcing steel can be updated based on the monitoring results. The programming on the evaluation of durability of concrete structures in marine environment is made using MATLAB language, so that the bearing capacity, the reliability and the service life of marine concrete structures can be assessed accurately.
