摘要
Many companies are implementing calibration database software to aid in the calibration management process. The fundamental goal of using this software has been to increase productivity by reducing paper work. With the new technology, the next step in improving productivity is to implement true paperless calibration management. Before a company can go paperless several key issues must be addressed; these include data capture, data authenticity and data reliability. This presentation describes these issues and discusses real world solutions. These include direct instrument data capture, bar coding, data input via the intranet and PDA's, electronic signatures and software validation.
