摘要
This article approaches the social condition, the political situation in Brazil, the ethnic and identity debates and marriage (as a social and religious institution), in the same way that the representation of the body inserted in these contexts is critically perceived, based on the works by Carolina de Jesus under analysis, so that the literary texts discussed appear as follows: Quarto de despejo: diario de uma favelada (2014), published as the author's debut work in 1960, Casa de Alvenaria: diario de uma ex-favelada (1961), Pedacos da Fome (1963), Proverbios (1963) and Diario de Bitita (2007). There is a dialogue with the author's critical fortune.
