摘要
The present article seeks to make a brief analysis of the critical conscience expressed in the fourth room of Eviction, written by the writer Carolina Maria de Jesus, which permeate the process of constructing his poetic and reflective writing along of the record of their daily lives. From the reports of her experience, the author uses the literary composition as an instrument of denunciation and social emancipation to express her position in the face of the precarious condition of the poor, black slum dwellers in twentieth-century Brazil, which draws attention to her posture as a black woman which uses literary language at a time when there was no space in the world of letters for feminine discourse. In order to justify the historical and cultural context, referring to the insertion of women in the literary universe, we resort to the critical theory of feminism and the theoretical presuppositions of literary criticism, among them: bell hooks (2014), Djamila Ribeiro (2017), Antonio Candido (2000), Funk (2016), Goncalves (2014), among others.
