Efficient continuous wave green light generation in a periodically poled LiTaO3 crystal by single-pass frequency doubling

摘要
An efficient green generation in a periodically poled LiTaO3 by frequency doubling a diode-pumped, single-mode cw ND:YAG laser is reported. A 44-mw, 532-nm output was obtained by single-pass operation in a 7.8-mum period, 15-mm long sample using a 3.5-W incidence power near room temperature. No obvious photo-refractive damage was observed in the operation temperature and power level.
