Measurements of deuteron-induced activation cross-sections for IFMIF accelerator structural materials

摘要
Activation cross-sections for deuteron-induced reactions in aluminum, iron, copper, tantalum and tungsten were measured by using the stacked-foil method. The stacked foils were irradiated with a deuteron beam at TIARA facility in JAERI. We obtained the activation cross-sections for Al-27(d, x)Na-22,Na-24, Fe-nat(d, x)Co-55,Co-56, Cu-nat(d, x)Cu-61, Cu-nat(d, x)Zn-62, Ta-nat(d, x)Ta-178,Ta-180 and W-nat(d, x)Re-181,Re-183 in 20-40 MeV region. These cross-sections were compared with other experimental ones and the data in the ACSELAM library calculated by the ALICE-F code. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
