摘要
Objective: To find the perceptions of physiotherapy students toward research related activities. Methodology: The study design was cross-sectional. A questionnaire was distributed and perception of students was assessed by using a 5-point Likert scale. Results: Out of 64 post-graduation students, 36(56%) strongly agreed that applying research findings to clinical settings for improvement in clinical practice is necessary for professional strength. 28(43.8%) students agreed that reading physiotherapy research literature to update knowledge is an interesting activity while 23(35.9%) agreed that research is an interesting activity and it must be included in physiotherapy graduation and post-graduation programs. 34(53.1%) strongly agreed that the deficiency of resources (financial, time, availability, literature, measurement tools) reduce the interest to research related activities. Conclusion: Students of post-graduation in physiotherapy perceived the research work and activities related to research process as very important for their professional growth and improvements in clinical practices.
