PERSPECTIVES OF THE RUSSIAN INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF IMPORT SUBSTITUTION POLICY

The problems of Russian industry are analyzed in the paper. The approach to increase of enterprises activity efficiency due to modernization actions is proposed. Modernization of industry is an essential and an objective necessity, caused by the desire of States to support long-term socio-economic stability, increase economic power, strengthen international positions of the country and ensure economic security. It is concluded that there is significant impact of industry modernization on the sustainable development of enterprises and the economy as a whole. The authors suggest that as the development model changes and formation of new approaches and partnerships relationship the main tasks of industrial enterprises should be solution to a problem of risk management and strengthening of economic security. It is proposed to evaluate the level of development of domestic industry through an expert assessment of the time series of statistical indicators, as well as to analyze the relationship between the rate of growth of the industry and the economy in a whole. To evaluate the prospects for the development of the industrial production in the conditions of import substitution policy are encouraged to use an extrapolation and coefficient method. The current research work consists of the evaluation of the domestic industry dynamics and the description of the prospects of its development in the conditions of import substitution policy. The factors affecting the economical safety of industrial plants are considered and the indicators for assessing the economic security of industrial enterprise are proposed. The conceptual recommendations to reduce the financial risks in order to ensure economic security are proposed. Prospects of industrial production development in Russia, aimed at meeting the growing domestic demand, are quite favorable with appropriate funding of scientific research in the field of new equipment. The significant weakening of the dependence on import is possible for several branches of industry. The government support of R&D tares a special place in this process.
