摘要
In the paper the microstrip antenna with pattern based on a unit cells composed of patches with boomerang-like shaped slots has been presented. The antenna has the base edges in the center for the higher layer and slots cut along the periphery of the cell with small perpendicular slits in the middle. The square unit cell edge is 4mm length. The antenna was simulated in CST Microwave Studio. The simulations were performed with the Transient Solver in order to check their properties such as the return loss, the current distribution, the radiation pattern and the gain. The parametric study was achieved to test the influence of the parameter dimensions on the properties. The optimal model of the antenna which is issued from the parametric study is fabricated and tested. The results of the measurements are then confronted with those of the simulations for comparison.
