Nanocomposite containing a homogeneous dispersion of NdAlO3 crystallites in an Al2O3 matrix has been obtained from the chemical vapour deposition of the mixed-metal precursor [Na{Al(OPri)(4)}(3)((PrOH)-O-i)].
