摘要：
Many Y-chromosomal DNA polymorphisms are now available. The most widely used are biallelic markers such as base substitutions, and microsatellites. This chapter discusses some of the issues and complications raised by the use of these markers, including recurrent mutation, duplication of loci, sample reliability and nomenclature.
