摘要：

The paper focuses on transformational leadership, the most frequently researched leadership theory. Even though the dozens of studies proved the positive relationship between transformational leadership and different criteria of leader effectiveness, the transformational approach is not popularly known in Czech Republic. This paper points out the world trends in transformational leadership and argues why we need the transformational leadership questionnaire in Czech language.
