Travel agency tour operator has the object of organizing and selling on their own travel packages or components thereof. directly or through intermediaries, while travel agency retailers, sells or offers for sale on behalf of tour operators, package or parts thereof. Romanian tourism agencies are organized on a voluntary basis in the National Association of travel agencies of Romania (NATA), and the national agencies are involved in tourism the World Tourism Organization. Tour operators are those travel agents with a huge capital that have huge purchasing power, nationally and internationally both horizontally and vertically. The current study aims to be an empirical analysis on the role it has or it can have a tour operator in the development of tourism services of some regions and even in "influencing" the tourist market, with direct reference to the Eximtour Agency in Romania, an agency situated in top 5 romanian agencies.
