摘要
Approaching a carbon-free power system mandates its demand-side to become flexible in shaping the consumption profiles. The demand re-shape should be based on economical grounds, i.e. the flexibility should reduce the operational costs of the participating consumer. Besides industrial facilities or buildings where the demand flexibility should not infringe the production or comfort, also different infrastructures can be considered for flexibilization of their consumption profiles. Also in this case the overall operational costs of the infrastructure should be reduced while basic performance constraints must be respected. In this paper we focus on optimization of daily operation of a water distribution system with a pumped storage. The cumulative cost of electricity consumption and water leakages in the system is minimized while the pressures in all the end-points of the network are kept above the minimum prescribed levels.
