Non-linear self-tuning control of chemical reactors with input and process constraints

摘要
This paper focuses on a general non-linear self-tuning controller which is based on the polynomial model within the recursive control algorithm. It is applied for identification and control of two simulated non-linear reactors. A comparison is made between the non-linear self-tuning controller and a linear self-tuning controller in order to investigate the advantages and disadvantages. The results show that the non-linear polynomial model represents the process in a better manner and the controller demonstrates its effectiveness for all kinds of disturbances including the presence of a non-stationary disturbance.
