LEP measurements of Vcb and Vub

The magnitude of the CKM matrix element V-cb has been measured using (B) over bar (0) - D*+l(-)nu(-) decays recorded on the Z(0) peak using the OPAL, ALEPH and DELPHI detectors at LEP. The D*(+) --> D(0)pi(+) decays were reconstructed both in particular decay modes and via an inclusive technique. The product of \V-cb\ and the decay form factor of the (B) over bar --> D(*+)l(-)(nu) over bar transition at zero recoil F(1) was measured to be F(1)\V-cb\ = (35.6 +/- 1.7) x 10(-3). \V-cb\ is obtained by using Heavy Quark Effective Theory calculations for T(1). The semi-leptonic branching ratio BR(b --> clv) is also used to extract V-cb. The combined result is \V-cb\ (40.7 +/- 1.9) x 10(-3). The semi-leptonic branching ratio BR(b --> ulv) is measured and used to extract the magnitude of V-cb, \V-cb\ = (4.09-(+0.59)(0.69)) x 10(-3).
