摘要
ZnFe2O4/CuFe2O4 composites in the ratios of 0.95:0.05 and 0.5:0.5 were synthesized via coprecipitation technique using polyvinyl alcohol as a surfactant. The X-ray diffraction study revealed the formation of nanosized ZnFe2O4/CuFe2O4 composite crystallites with cubic phase of ZnFe2O4 and tetragonal phase of CuFe2O4. Scanning electron microscopy revealed the formation of octahedral polycrystals of zinc-copper ferrite composites. The samples were found to be single-domain ferromagnetic material from the hysteresis response obtained. Hence, the synthesized samples can serve as potential candidates for magnetic data storage.
