摘要
We present a novel architecture of an all-optical multi-wavelength synchronizer for all-optical networks. This architecture aligns input flows on slot starting with a tunable fine precision in all-optical domain. Synchronization is performed by adding to the latecomer signals a controllable delay due to recirculations throw reducing size loop. Decision about the required delay is dynamically managed by a control system independently of extern events. Simulation model is implemented using components having standard parameter values. Results show that the proposed architecture is able to accommodate an important signal number enclosed at the same time. The feasibility of signals synchronization with a fine sensitivity for varied system bit rates with acceptable signal distortion is demonstrated.
