摘要
Purpose Exploring feelings and thoughts of people with disability pension regarding return-to-work. Methods In a written survey individuals receiving disability pension answered an open question focusing on their feelings and thoughts about return-to-work. Qualitative content analysis was used to analyze and build inductive categories. Results 8 categories were inductively formed from 2,622 analy-sis units. Prominent feelings regarding return-to-work were feelings like worries and fears such as fear of failure or the feel-ing of high stress, but also high hopes on success, social contacts and acknowledgment. Conclusion For the first time, the results provide a systematic presentation of the topic based on subjective descriptions of the persons concerned and thus place them as experts in the focus of scientific observation.
