摘要
A simulation of a mathematical model is applied for fatigue failure in rolling contact bearings. The authors determine the dependence of tensile stresses and tensile deformations in compressive stress patterns in the areas of elastic contact. A model is developed to store the internal potential energy in elastic materials of the rolling elements at various contact areas under cyclical loads. The proposed dependence can be applied to predict the raceway and rolling elements' performance time until the point of fatigue failure. The considered simulation technology can be used to predict fatigue failure and other types of repetitive loading.
