摘要
In the past few years, a great attention has been paid for digitizing and indexing Islamic material resources, particularly Hadiths. Although many online libraries for hadiths have been developed, majority of the approaches for describing its contents and resources is traditional metadata with little support to enable semantic web and annotation. As the emergences of semantic web revenues very much benefits to the Internet users, this paper thus provides a brief review on the existing approaches, techniques and domain. The literature found a very limited numbers on semantic annotation for hadith. Therefore, this paper proposes an automated annotation approach to supports the semantic annotation of hadiths web documents. The foundation building blocks of the automated annotation is illustrated in a general conceptual framework.
