Improvement of teaching and learning quality: Implementing learning organization in selected technical universities, technical colleges, and colleges for professional training in Taiwan

摘要
Since TQM cannot be suitably applied in the quality of teaching and learning. The purpose of this study seeks to apply the quantitative method to validate the Senge's five disciplines in teaching and learning qualities from the teachers' perspectives for improvement of school performance. The samples are the administrators and faculties in selected institutions. The disproportionate sampling of the respondents was based on the school level. The 512 respondents were sent by mail survey and 965 respondents were sent by web survey. The useable response rate is 70% ana 6.63%, respectively. The overall teaching and learning qualities were perceived to be above average; however, there is still the need to improve. The four disciplines could be the predictor of systems thinking, whereas the LO could be the predicator of school performance.
