摘要
In this paper, a routine written in the computational algebra system GAP is presented to compute the irreducible projective characters IrrProj(G, alpha i) with associ-ated factor sets alpha i for the maximal subgroups of the sporadic simple Mathieu group M22 and its automorphism group M22:2. The said routine derived its fundamentals from the theory of finding all the irreducible projective characters of a finite group G from the ordinary irreducible characters of a so-called representation group R = M(G).G of G, where M(G) denotes the Schur multiplier of G.
