摘要
A new genus of Macrobiotidae (Eutardigrada), Famelobiotus, is described for a new species, Famelobiotus scalicii, found in a moss sample collected in Brunei Darussalam (Borneo). The new genus has a configuration of the buccal armature that is unique within the eutardigrades. The buccal cavity contains a second system of transverse ridges in addition to structures that are present in other genera (a ring of peribuccal lamellae, an anterior band of fine teeth and a posterior band of teeth, and a system of posterior transverse dorsal and ventral ridges). Astatumen trinacriae (Arcidiacono, 1962), another species new for Borneo, was found with Famelobiotus scalicii.
