摘要
In this contribution, the unsteady behaviour of a jet impinging into a trough- like shaped cavity is discussed; the investigation is performed both experimentally and numerically. The unsteady character of this flow is considered a result of instability in otherwise symmetrical flow-field. The mechanism of the jet swinging is then identified as an action of the Coanda effect between a jet and a quasi- wall- jet.
