Comparison of three mesh generation method for electrical capacitance tomography

摘要
This paper introduces some mesh generation method used in ECT, which are triangular, rectangular and quadtree method. Mesh generation is one of the most important steps to FEM. The shape and the quantity and the distribution of element mesh directly work on the solution of ECT sensor model. After analyzing the mathematical model of ECT sensor model and the realization of mesh generation, the meshes generated of different mesh generation method and the effect to reconstructed images are both given. Simulation and experiment show that quadtree mesh method is better than the other two methods.
