摘要
The article discusses the issues of legislative regulation in the sphere of environmental monitoring of the influence zone of environmentally dangerous industries in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. These businesses include mining, metallurgical, energy and some other companies that have an impact on all components of the environment. The main legislative acts in the sphere of nature use and the environmental safety are analyzed. Requirements for the implementation of local monitoring in the surroundings of industrial sites are identified and systematized. Also, the normative documents are considered which determine the composition and scope of monitoring studies of atmosphere, hydrosphere, soil and biological objects. A comparison of the legal systems of regulation of local environmental monitoring in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus is made. Drawbacks of the systems and possible ways of their improving are discussed.
