摘要
This paper introduces the existing ways of spot inspection and the problems of PLC equipment in iron and steel company, and proposes a new method of remote network monitoring for device status. And so lots of manpower and material resources are saved. Based on the detailed analysis of the existing problems, we proposed the implementation method. Via modifying the program of the existing network PLC devices, and choosing the PI Real-Time database system software which was developed by the United States OSI soft LLC, remote monitoring for equipment status is realized. And thus we can get and upload the status, major faults, and minor faults of PLC.
