The Jahn-Teller effect in the T-5(2) state of Fe2+ in III-V materials

摘要
Estimates of the first-order Jahn-Teller reduction factor (gamma) of the T-5(2) State of Fe2+ in III-V materials are made from an examination of FTIR studies. Values of gamma between 0.01 and 0.2 are deduced.
