Large-scale properties of MHD turbulence

摘要
One expects to see the turbulent regime of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) as the most probable state of a magnetofluid present in diverse systems ranging from astrophysical to cosmological scales. In this poster(1), we outline how techniques borrowed from scaling concepts and the renormalization group (RG) are being used to reveal large-scale and long-time properties of turbulent MHD. Issues such as the turbulent viscosity and resistivity, the energy spectra, magnetic helicity, and cascades can be addressed with these methods.
