摘要
This article discusses a conceptual study of postrnodern thought that can be the basis for developing history education as emancipatory education. Now, tradition or pattern of the banking concept of education become standard and reference in the history education process. Learning history instead of being critical awareness former, it even becomes a dehumanization process and practices. The existing historical fact is a powerful-grand narrative that makes learning history as the process of indoctrination. Deconstruction is an important key word in postrnodern thought. Deconstruction can be used as a philosophical foundation and academic for developing learning history (history as a social studies resource) to create emancipatory history education.
