摘要
Phase transition in [N(C2H5)(4)](2)ZnCl4 has been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction and high-resolution C-13-NMR. Structure determination shows that [N(C2H5)(4)](+) ion involves disordering between two Nordic crosses at room temperature. C-13-NMR spectra considerably broaden near the transition point in the high temperature phase. The motions of [N(C2H5)(4)](+) ion are analyzed from the temperature dependencies of the NMR line-width and spin-lattice relaxation time.
