摘要
A ground-based millimeter radiometer-scatterometer has been miniaturized as a portable instrument. This portable instrument is much smaller than ordinary ones, and can highly facilitate remote sensing measurements. The, miniaturization methods for the radiometer-scatterometer system have been introduced and discussed in detail in this paper. The miniaturization is mainly composed of the design of system mechanism and the design of antenna subsystem. To obtain a compact system structure, the mechanism of the scatterometer is designed to be similar to that of the radiometer. The antenna subsystem is adapted to ground-based remote sensing. A special design has been taken to miniaturize the antennas.
