摘要
Based on the requirements of EC Directive 2004/54/EC a quantitative risk analysis method was developed for road tunnels in Germany. The risk model focuses on the risk of tunnel users and investigates risks due to car accidents and fires. Based on this method the influence of various parameters on tunnel risk was investigated and conclusions were drawn to what extent the specification of a specific safety level as reference for risk evaluation is practicable. Furthermore the influence of various tunnel and traffic parameters on tunnel risk-both overall risk and fire risk-was studied.
