摘要
In traditional mine hoist automation;systems. two separate analog sensors are applied in the depth and velocity measurement. For the complex and discommodious application in the traditional systems, this article gives a simple introduction of the rotary encoder's principle. and discusses its important application in mine hoist automation systems. Because of the rotary encoder's characteristic of being based oil digital control and conveniently obtaining the direction. it is reasonable and reliable to use a rotary encoder as the sensor on measuring depth and velocity of the mine. It also has worthy reference value for correlative systems.
