Parity-violating effects in electron spin resonance g-tensors

摘要
We investigate the effects of parity-violating electroweak interaction in the g-tensor of electron spin resonance spectroscopy. We present a leading-order perturbational theory for these contributions and evaluate them using density-functional theory in a series of chiral radicals, CH3XHO (X = N, P, As, Sb). The present formulation is independent of the parameters related to the nuclear structure and hence allows for an estimation of the scale of the parity-violating effects in magnetic resonance parameters.
