A NEW KIND OF MUSEUM SHOWCASE WITH RADIANT COOLING PANELS

摘要
A new kind of museum showcase with radiant cooling panel was introduced in this paper to supply a feasible conservation environment for cultural relics. The interior temperature and flow distribution of new showcase were compared with that of convectional one by numerical simulation, and more attentions were focused on two different surrounding condition: air-conditioning and without air-conditioning. It is found that the new showcase's isothermals distribute more regular than that of convectional one, and the space fits for cultural relic conservation of new showcase is larger than that of convectional one too. It is also found that the velocity magnitude of the new showcase is very smaller than that of convectional one, which is helpful for cultural relic conservation.
