Statistical homogenization for granular media - Application to non linear elastic modelling

摘要
This paper presents a non linear isotropic elastic model which is derived hem a microscopic Hertz-Mindlin elastic contact law using an homogenization process. The general form of the model in the case of an isotropic granular medium submitted to a triaxial test is presented. It is then shown that the obtained. model is not hyperelastic. The model is lastly compared to a phenomenological elastic model which is hyperelastic.
