This study evaluated the grain yield of wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes, in three environments in Minas Gerais. Twenty three genotypes were evaluated, including three controls, fifteen lines and five obsolete cultivars. The experiments were done in the agricultural year 2003, in the following locations: Perdizes, Coromandel and Una; the experimental design was randomized blocks with four repetitions. Sowing was done on May 27 and 28 2003 in Coromandel and Perdizes, respectively, and on June 06 2003 in Una. Harvest was done on October 01, 04, and 06 2003 in Coromandel, Perdizes and Una, respectively. The observed results indicate that the best environment, with irrigation, for the expression of wheat yield was Coromandel, probably due to the lower temperatures predominating in this location, a function of higher altitude. In Perdizes, Coromandel and Una, the best genotypes were, respectively, the lines CPAC 97101; PF 91627 and the control BRS 207.
