摘要
In allusion to enormous size of fault recording data, how to compress fault signal is researched, local time-frequency characteristics of fault signal is analyzed in this paper, and the method of Cubic B-spline wavelet transform is applied to fault recording data compression. We have studied many methods of threshold selection and presented the least maximum method which shows improvement in reality. Through simulation analysis: the following conclusions have reached, that is, cubic B-spline wavelet has better capability of signal decomposition and reconstruction, its copmression ratio is 7.62:1 and fault characteristics can be reserved better if appropriate threshold is chosen.
