Mini-Abstract We present a patient with acute left ventricular free wall rupture and pseudoaneurysm formation after myocardial infarction. We review the accuracy and incremental utility of real time handheld 3-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography for the assessment of left ventricular rupture location, orifice geometry, and complex intracardiac flow. © 2015, Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
