摘要
The toughness of sulfoaluminate cement (SAC) was enhanced by adding polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers and fly ash (FA). Mechanical properties of the resulting SAC mortars including compressive strength, flexural strength, and bending strength were investigated. Strength of SAC mortars with 20 wt% FA was comparable to that of SAC, due to the improved the compactness of matrix. PVA fibers had a negative effect on compressive strengths of SAC and SAC-FA, while they had positive effects on flexural strength and bending strength. A post peak softening behavior after undergoing peak loading was observed in SAC and SAC-FA, due to the presence of PVA fibers.
