摘要
Multi-field Vehicle Driver Stake Test (VDST) system for practice and examination consists of several sets of VDST instrument and one upper computer. Each set of VDST instrument mainly includes one host and one assistant machine. In the paper the communicating structure of multi-field VDST system is presented. By designing and application of the software and hardware the communication requirements are achieved. Wireless communication modules are adopted between the host and assistant machines, serial communication modules are used in the upper computer and the host machines, to realize the data transfer between the upper computer and the city's Transportation Management Department (TMD). In practical application. host machine sends the codes to upper computer which records and displays the status of examination or practice in each field. When finished, the results are printed, and the data generated in the whole process are saved in the examinee database. The test results show that the operation of the designed communication system is stable and reliable.
