摘要
The toxicity of heavy metal on sulfate reducing bacteria was studied in batch bioreactor, with emphasis on the addition of iron for enhancing the sulfate reduction reaction. The results showed that the toxicity order of different metal ions to the sludge was Cr6+> Cu2+> Mn2+> Zn2+, and the metal concentration (mg/L) I-c that restraining 50% metabolism activities was 6.7, 12, 66.6 and 68.3. Iron could enhance the sulfate reduction process and reduce the effects of metal ions on organism. The stronger the toxicity of metal ion was, the more evident the enhancement of iron.
