摘要：

It is important to realize that the gains in productivity resulting from this study were accomplished without the purchase of capital equipment, reduction in personnel, large expenditures in training, or radical changes in processes or procedures. The Six Sigma methodology, when correctly followed, can allow dyeing facilities to realize continuous improvements in quality while reducing waste in water, energy, chemicals, and dyes.
