North Korean Nuclear Missile Potential: Speculations and Reality

In the West it is customary to consider the creation of a limited missile-nuclear potential in the DPRK as a global threat to all mankind. At the same time the technical capabilities of the North Korean ballistic missiles to deliver a nuclear warhead to the US continental territory are clearly exaggerated. In the absence of any real information on the location of the most important sites in the DPRK, the Trump Administration is increasingly insisting on the need for such a strike with the help of nuclear munitions. It only worsens the situation in the sphere of regional security. A way out of this situation is possible if the international community considers the nuclear missile potential of North Korea only as a challenge to the other states, requiring joint action to find a possible compromise in the framework of multilateral negotiations on the DPRK nuclear issue.
