Methods for construction of information retrieval systems based on a hierarchical model of the information space of the Internet

Searches through the information resources of the Internet and the orientation towards this vast information space have created major difficulties, moreover, success rates in information retrieval are often unsatisfactory. To improve the efficiency of information retrieval, the present article proposes directed management of the process, systematization of the information space, partitioning of the space into search zones based on the topical proximity of resources, and a concatenation of search zones for management of meta-retrieval.
