摘要
Confronted by May 2008, the industrial production registered a decrease per total by 10%, which shows us that the industrial sector was directly affected by the global economical and financial crisis. The decrease of the industrial production involves a succession of economic imbalances, which especially have repercussions at the social level. The most pressing problem that the global economical and financial crisis opens in Romania at the social level is the accelerate growth of unemployment, all economic fields being strongly affected by the decreased production and employment. For this reason, it is vital that at the governmental and local level to initiate large programs/projects of professional (re)qualification. We choose for exemplification the project GATOM - Gearing Adult Education Towards Occupational Mobility, elaborated by an international research team under the lead of the Austrian Institute for SME Research.
